Overview

Sun Peaks is the second largest ski resort in Canada, and is famous for light, dry, “champagne powder”. With three mountains to choose from, there is skiable terrain for all levels of experience. After your day on the slopes, you can enjoy its European style village with a mix of dining and shopping options. Tired after a long day on the slopes? You can relax in your on-mountain accommodation with outdoor and indoor hot tubs. If you are looking to further unwind for the evening, there are several pubs and bars to choose from where you can truly enjoy the Apres ski scene.

What To Bring

• Swimsuit for the hot tubs
• WARM ski & snowboard apparel including gloves, toque, snow pants, helmets, goggles, and warm jacket. Temperatures can actually drop below -15°C. If you don’t have winter clothes, we can assist with renting at the time of booking
• Good / comfortable & warm walking shoes or boots
• RECOMMENDED: A medical insurance card. If you require insurance, you can purchase it through our parent company, Uniglobe Specialty Travel. For more information, please contact us.

Itinerary

Please note that the itinerary is subject to change due to unforeseen (weather) conditions. Departure times may vary by date, please see your confirmation email for exact departure times. When booking the tour please select if you will depart from Canada Place or Abbotsford.

Day 1

• Depart Vancouver. Please look at your confirmation email for departure time & location, and arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure
• Rest stop on the way to Sun Peaks
• Arrival at Sun Peaks. Check-in to your hotel is pre-arranged
• Free time for dinner
• Enjoy the hotel’s outdoor and indoor hot tubs

Day 2

• Enjoy a full day of skiing at Sun Peaks
  
• If renting/taking lessons, meet your guides in the hotel lobby and they will walk you to the rental shop and/or ski school
  
• Lessons (if booked): 11am – 1pm
  
• Ski with guide: option to meet your guide for an on-mountain ski tour
  
• Après ski: Option to join your Guide and group for an après-ski event (TBD)
  

Day 3

• Check out of the hotel at 10 AM
• Enjoy another full day of skiing at Sun Peaks
• Bus departs mountain at 3:30 PM SHARP!
• Make a dinner stop en route back to Vancouver
• Return to Canada Place at approximately 10:00 PM
